I have been a Freelance Producer for over 15 years.
Although hailing from Scotland I have been working in London for the past 20 years or so, with my first 5 years in the industry working in Edinburgh at The Leith Agency before moving to London to work initially at BBH. A bit of a 'Jockney' if you will:-0
Services
Responsible for production process encompassing script approval, ballparking, Director search, budgets/negotiating, casting/artist appointment, dealing with suppliers/facilitating payments, timing plans, contracts, insurances, music/sound design, sourcing of voiceovers, general pre-production and running pre-production meetings, overseeing shoot days, post production bookings to final film. Liaising with account management/client, creatives and suppliers throughout.

I also produced 2 short films in 2009/2010, one funded by the UK Film Council and the other for BBC Drama Shorts 2009 co-funded by both BBC and Scottish Screen for entry initially into The Bristol Encounters short film festival and various other International Film Festivals thereafter inc. Palm Springs International Film Festival.
